ARE YOU HOPELESS? 🙇🏻‍♀️ ✝️

It’s been two weeks since I haven’t written a blog post and you know sometimes life takes over but it’s always ok to pause. I needed to pray about some things and let the Lord speak and so I am glad I did.

Tonight I have such a desire to reach those who are struggling. You know who you are. I know in this world there is so much going on. The moment you walk out of the door you can feel this heaviness of on your shoulders.

We all know Life can have great times of joy but also seasons of pain and despair. We just don’t know what will happen in the next hour of our lives. The reality is we cannot control everything that happens in this world So it can be overwhelming. In this world there is so much going on and the minute you step out the door you can see people suffering. Some people suffer in anxiety or fear. Just because we cannot see it doesn’t mean it’s not there. I remember when I struggled with fear, I was afraid to leave my home and drive my car. People are suffering wether they share it with you or not. Some people suffer the lost of loved ones and in all of the questions that come with it. We as humans have so many questions with that. Let’s be honest... the biggest question we ask starts with the word WHY.

Why do these horrible things happen in this world? No matter where we go people are hurting. We all go through pain but the question is What do you do when you feel this hopelessness?

A lot of people struggle with being hopeless and no one knows about it. It takes ahold of your heart and can take you into a deep depression. I know because I experienced some very real moments with thoughts of suicide. It truly was not my personality to think of things like that but despair can take you places you don’t want to go.

I know there is life circumstances but there are things we can do to create unpleasant circumstances for ourselves also. Please don’t get me wrong life happens to all of us but we can make it worse ok.

This is what I mean it was a feeling that people get that makes them feel like there is nothing left to live for. I call this rock bottom. If you’ve experienced these same feelings or if you’re currently experiencing these feelings now let me tell you something Jesus knows where you are, Jesus cares about where you are and Jesus died for what your going through! This world was never made to be full of destruction, death and disease. This world was supposed to be full of life, joy and peace. The effects of our sin is what made it this way. We as humans somehow are experts at messing things up. Lol. I know me without Jesus I am not good any-day. MHHHKAY!

Jesus said in John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

My King Jesus came so that we could have LIFE! If you are at a place where you want to give up on everything , if you are at a place where you don’t know what to do because everything you’ve tried has failed, let me tell you something.... Jesus is the only one who can sustain that emptiness in your soul. It is not cliche it is the truth. I have tried to do it my way. I have tried to satisfy that hunger of love by other people and other things but the truth is Jesus was only made to fill that space.

Don’t lose hope you’ve tried it all but NOW CHOOSE JESUS, YES CHOOSE JESUS!

I promise you will never regret your choice and you would want to tell others of this choice that you made that has changed your life forever!

For the Christian who is struggling, let it be made known to your peers so that they can pray for you and lift you up. In the Scriptures we see Jesus told us that in this life we would have trouble but to take heart that he has overcome the world! Basically , in other words he is saying don’t be surprised by the troubles that come but know for sure YOU can overcome the world just like I have. Remember nothing is impossible with God and the moments that you feel at your lowest - look up. Jesus did not leave you in trouble and Jesus did not cause the trouble because he is a Good Father! Remember you are an overcomer , you are more than a conqueror, you are an co-heir with Christ and the power that you need is inside of you because Jesus has given you everything you need for life and godliness!

I am praying for those struggling everywhere! I am praying for those overwhelmed by the junk of this day and age! I am praying for those struggling with suicide! JESUS GOT YOU!

Jesus I come before you now to confess sometimes I struggle to believe in you but God I know you’re there and even when I struggle to believe . I pray now that you would help my unbelief because I want to believe. Father I pray that you would help me when I feel hopeless , show me that it is temporary and only for a moment. Life gets hard but it is not meant to overwhelm me. Life is meant to grow me ! Jesus help me when troubles of this world are coming against my soul. I know you have overcome and so I can overcome with you on my side. I pray that you would help my heart and help my mind to believe your word. I pray that you would send me the people that I need in this time to help encourage my spirit and my soul. I pray that your revelation would come to me in regards to this time in my life! God help me to help others feeling this same way to show them you care and that you died so they could be free just like me. I love you and I set my eyes towards you now In Jesus Mighty Name!

1 John 5:13-14

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

1 Peter 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

John 4:13-14

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
