THIS IS HOW I FIGHT MY BATTLES ❤️

I was laying down in my bed with a heavy heart with many things on my mind. As I layed I began to pray. But I stopped. My prayer slowly turned Into a tears with no more words. I choose to step away from my bed and move to another room to truly have a moment with God.

As I knelt I could only cry in pain and sorrow, my heart felt so heavy I could barely breathe. I could feel the pain of loved ones, pain from marriages, pain from broken relationships. I could feel the sadness in people around me. It all hit me at the same time. I saw images of people’s faces and i saw their countenance change. It’s almost as if God showed me, like I see them too Shanyse. I care for them too.

At that point all I could offer to God is where I was at. Sometimes getting before God is all we need to do. We need to run into then prescence of our Heavenly Father and let our stuff be made bare before him. Give him our brokenness and he will come and make us new and whole again.

I sat and sang :

“Lord my heart is heavy, would you make it light again, make it light again. Only you can, make it light again.“

This was the worship song I offered to him. I could have pulled out a lot of others songs I know but It’s all I could sing. I love to worship the Lord but i cannot worship out of habit if I am not acknowledging where I am at. I want be open and honest at all times. If I can be excited in the good seasons and sing my heart out, I can let him see my pain and give him access to my brokeness also.

People of Faith , give King Jesus something to work with. Worship your heart out! Let all that lies beneath the fake cliches and smiles be known the Him. I know we all know how to dust off our feet and keep it movin‘ in the name of busyness but don’t neglect your heart. LET IT OUT! Ask God to help you! He is the God that restores everything lost!

SING YOUR SONG TO THE LORD! Cry out!

Yes he knows it all anyway but when we bring it to him and ask him to intervene we give permission To the one and only true God to have his Way in our lives! He will restore and keep true to his promises! He is a Faithful Father.

Listening to the song this is how I fight my battles I heard an interesting line that goes like this:

In the valley I know That You're with me Surely Your goodness And Your mercy follow me My weapons Are praise and thanksgiving This is how I fight my battles

I believe You've overcome And I will lift my song of Praise for what You've done

When I heard this song it resonated in my spirit because that is the exact posture we should have in this life. No matter what we have going around us our position should be to worship the living God. In this our heart can get refocused, our soul gets abandoned and opened up to God‘s direction. We may down our ideas and we begin to see the big picture God has in store.

Hebrews 12-28-29

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

So let’s worship God and believe him!

Say this with me, “KING JESUS HAVE YOUR WAY IN MY LIFE, RENEW ME, REFRESH ME SO I CAN ACCOMPLISH YOUR WILL HERE ON EARTH. TAKE MY HEART AND HELP ME OVERCOME THIS SEASON, SHOW ME HOW TO BE SPIRIT LED BECAUSE LORD I TRUST THAT YOU ARE A GOOD FATHER AND YOU WILL USE ALL SITUATIONS FOR MY GOOD. LORD I LOVE YOU AND I WANT TO OBEY YOU WILL , IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, AMEN!”
